Navy SeaPort-e

The U.S. Navy's SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Rolling Admissions procurement vehicle was established in 2002 by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) warfare centers as a web-based e-business procurement vehicle that facilitates performance-based service acquisition, and is worth a total of $5.3 billion annually. Under the terms of the subcontract, Interface will be able to compete in all seven geographical zones across the United States for services related to weapons systems acquisition and life-cycle support, including research and development support, prototyping, acquisition logistics, modeling, test and evaluation trials, and engineering support.

SeaPort-e Rolling Admissions expanded the ordering agencies authorized to utilize SeaPort-e to include: NAVSEA; Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command; Naval Air Systems Command; Naval Supply Systems Command; Naval Facilities Engineering Command; United States Marine Corps; Military Sealift Command; and Strategic Systems Program.

DESP II

The Design and Engineering Support Program (DESP II) is a five-year, multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle available for usage within the Air Force Material Command (AFMC), the Air Force, Dept of Defense (DoD), and other government agencies. The contract ceiling is set at $1.9 billion. The order-writing period is for five years, and the performance period of any task order (TO) must be complete within two years after the expiration date of the basic contract.

The DESP II allows for rapid access to high-quality engineering and technical services in support of any federal agency requiring the services of qualified engineering and technical personnel, as defined within the DESP II Performance Work Specifications (PWS) attached to each basic contract.
